Ciara poked me in the eye a few days ago (and another couple of times since), and its infected. Haven't been to the doctors yet, but i can see clearly through it, however it has closed up a bit, constantly weeps and is very red now.

Failed Cat Rescue.

A cat was trapped on a ladder above Meguro River, too scared to climb up. The firemen came to rescue the cat, but the cat jumped into the river before it could be saved. The river goes for miles with huge concrete walls on either side, so the cat probably swam until it got tired and drowned.

No updates for a while recently because Ciara has been ill. Just a cold, chesty cough and snotty nose. So not been doing much. Although she has grown some teeth.

Dancing girls on stage at the Azabu Juban Matsuri. The stage hosts lots of shows for 3 days. These women were dancing and then did a mini-musical.

This time its a teenage pop group. Youngest member is 15, the girl refused to reveal her age.

This is how busy it gets, i have to walk through this to get to my home because its in between me and the train station, normally it takes 5 minutes. When the matsuri is on, it takes 30 mins.

Was walking around Yoyogi park and came across a bunch of guys all dressed up like 60's style rockers in their leathers dancing to rock n roll in the streets.

Sumida Taikai - The biggest fireworks festival in Tokyo. Upto 1 million people come and see this. The fireworks actually go on for 1.5 hours from 2 spots. Here is a video of the atmosphere and the display. Last 2 minutes of the video is the actual last 2 minutes of the display.

Went to the immigration office today to get my Visa renewed. Took the Tokyo Monorail, here is the view you get when travelling on the monorail.

Not been updates for a while because I;ve been ill. Temperature was running at 38.6°C
We've decided to teach Ciara how to play the piano. Well, she had a bash at it. Quite literally.

Fast motion video (speeded up) of Ciara's mobility. She can spin round in circles move backwards, climb onto all 4's etc. Quite funny seeing how babies move.

Ciara has learned to wave ahead of *schedule* 13 months according to text books. But she's doing it at 7 months. Say Hello to Mum.

Thunderstorm over Tokyo, failed to catch any lightning but you can hear how severe it was from the sound. Also you can see some smoke from Roppongi Hills, as that got hit by lightning earlier. Plus you hear the start of the heavy rainfall.

Ciara has learned to prop herself up onto all 4's ready for crawling. Currently she can only move backwards and in circles.

Usually the MNationalists drive round in black vans with loudspeakers telling foreigners to go home and how much trouble foreigners cause.

WORLD CUP STARTS HERE!!! No highlights, but went to a roppongi bar to watch the macth,. Here's what the atmosphere was lick pre and post match. Onr thing I;ve never liked about Roppongis is the imblanace. Lots of Japanese women, lots of Western men, where are all the Japanese guys? This is what makes Roppongi so seedy.

Ciara can support her own weight on her legs with a bit of help, and she's already leaning to tabledance and lapdance!!!! Ha ha ha. Only joking.

Had a throat infection on Wednesday. Here is the evidence. Yes my back teeth are yellow. But my throat is all red and raw :(

I won a video competition at work over a month ago. The prize was a bit of cash in vouchers. I've yet to spend it. The video was shot in Tokyo and Madrid and is about a ball going on a holiday. If you want to see the full quality video its in a link to the right (in the sidebar)

Lunch with my work colleagues in a chinese restaurant in Tokyo.

Lot's of dog pampering shops in my area. Clothes for dogs. Matching outfits for dogs and owners. Dog Massage parlours etc. There's one dog in my area whose ears have been dyed green (not in video)

New French Restaurant opened in our new area a couple of weeks ago, so we though we would give it a try. Quite nice, bit on the pricey side but so is everything else in this area, portions could be bigger but was enough to fill me up (just about).

Ciara has finally started eating solid food, well this is rice and milk all blended up. This is the scond time she's tried the food. Its also a brand new high chair she's sitting in.

I had an exam in Shibuya today, so i thought i;d make a video of Hachiko. Supposedly the worlds busiest Pedestrian crossing. You've probably seen it on films and documentaries. Took me about 2 hours to edit this
